What is Full Sail University?

Speaking of what Full Sail University can offer, they have 49 Degree Courses that you can take, that means you have a lot of options to choose from, however, some courses are only available on-campus and there are some available on online courses still depends on what type, of course, you will get.

Here are some of the “On-Campus” Bachelor Courses that they have.

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation, Digital Arts & Design, Entertainment Business, Emerging Technology & Systems Engineering, Film, Game Art, Game Development, Music Business, Media Communications, Mobile Development, Music Production, Recording Arts, Software Development, Sports Marketing & Media, Show Production, Simulation & Visualization, Web Design & Development.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment.

Here are some of the “Online” Bachelor Courses that they have.

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation, Digital Cinematography, Entertainment Business, Game Art, Game Design, Graphic Design, Internet Marketing, Music Business, Media Communications, Mobile Development, Music Production, Sports Marketing & Media, and Web Design & Development.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment.

Full Sail University offers a Master’s Degree as well. This is not normal for other schools that offer different courses online and on-campus, this can be one of the reasons why people are thinking that they are a scam and just trying to fool students.

Here the Master’s Degree available on Full Sail University for on-campus.

  • Master of Science in Entertainment Business, Game Design
  • Master of Fine Arts in Film Production

Here the Master’s Degree available on Full Sail University online.

  • Master of Science in Business Intelligence, EBMS: Sports Management Elective Track, Entertainment Business, Instructional Design & Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Internet Marketing, and Mobile Gaming.
  • Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Media Design, New Media Journalism, and Public Relations.

Full Sail University does have a lot of courses available either on-campus or online and they even have a Master’s Degree that is also interesting about them. But the question is, are their courses legit or not? You will know that in the coming segments.

Is Full Sail University Accredited?

This is one of the most important things that you should know about Full Sail University. Based on what I have research about Full Sail University’s accreditation, they are licensed by the Commission for Independent Education and Florida Department of Education to offer courses such as Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Science, and Master of Fine Arts degree courses and yes, Full Sail University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges or ACCSC.

I believe this will somehow help you to answer the question if they are accredited school or not. Being an accredited company to provide those courses and programs does have a big factor to see if a company is legit or not.

Is a Degree From Full Sail University Worth It?

It is important that you know that every course or degree you will take with Full Sail University is worth it since the price for each course is not cheap. The tuition ranges from $36000 up to $75000 and will still depend on what course you will take. With the said amount you really need to expect that you will learn something that you can use in your future employment to earn money.

Based on my research, Full Sail University said that from 77% of their graduates. 75% of them get jobs that are related to the course that they take. Regardless of whether you go to an online university or to a regular university, new graduates soon learn that their degree will just help them on their first step of employment and once they are on it they are on their own. What does this mean? This means that almost all of the employers right now is looking for an employee who already had the experience in a specific field or post they are applying rather than someone who only base their knowledge just on books or online courses.

In other words, you may still have to start at the edge, even if you already have a full degree from Full Sail University. So the answer if it is worth it, I believe it will depend on you but for me, to be honest, it is not. It is not worth it to pay thousands of dollars and end up needed to have experience for me to get a job. Why not try other alternative ways to earn money online that is more easy and convenient for you.

What I Don’t Like About Full Sail University.

While I am doing this review. I’ve seen a lot of things that I know you need to consider thinking first before you try the courses from Full Sail University. Here are the things that I don’t like about Full Sail University.

Courses are expensive.

To be honest, I find their courses expensive. If you are going to explore all over the internet you will find the online courses that were offer for a low price or sometime will just require you to have monthly subscription just like Udemy that I already reviewed before. The only difference I can see is you have the option to do the course on-campus with Full Sail University.

They have a lot of complaints.

I have seen a lot of complaints from either students or employers of Full Sail University about the experience that they have. Most of the complaints are about after graduating it seems that most of the employers are looking for someone who has much experience in the job they are applying for which Full Sail University was not able to help or sustain them with on-the-job training to serve as their experience.

What I Like About Full Sail University.

If you are going to ask me what I like about Full Sail University, the only thing I like about them is they are offering a lot of courses and even have a Master’s Degree which is very helpful to some who already have the degree on that specific course and will also have the chance to study from home or online. Not all schools are offering this kind of opportunity to students that is why I like this one about Full Sail University.

Full Sail University Scam. My Final Verdict.

After all the research and revelations about Full Sail University, I cannot tell directly if they are a scam or not. And for me, they are completely doing legal when it comes to their business. Full Sail University does have legit programs and courses to offer that can really help you to have your goal job and earn money but it will still depend on how you were able to adopt the learning you have from each class.

Honestly, I love how Full Sail University works but I cannot recommend this to everyone. There are a lot of websites who offers the same courses but at a lower price or if you are good at researching you can have every detail for free, you just really need to be resourceful.
