While it isn’t the best place for seasoned affiliate marketers to get the most out of the Premium training, you don’t need full affiliate membership to reap the rewards.
What it does provide is a comprehensive journey from site setup to running PPC campaigns to convert ads into affiliate sign-ups. But there’s more to it than that, and the cool thing is that you can build your own affiliate business in any niche while completing the other training modules.

The Wealthy Affiliate program is an online marketing training that assists you in setting up your affiliate marketing sites. It begins at the beginning and progresses through content creation, SEO, and other topics using step-by-step modules and video training.
This can be accomplished by researching your niche site and promoting Wealthy Affiliate’s affiliate program alongside your content via banners and affiliate links. Or there’s another option.
Explore the world of affiliate marketing and learn everything you can. Sure, it’s competitive and won’t make you rich overnight, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a piece of the pie while also getting paid.

The Wealthy Affiliate affiliate program is designed to allow you to earn money by referring affiliates to WA.
Isn’t that basic affiliate marketing 101? However, more than having your referral link on your site is required.
No way, no how!
Wealthy Affiliate’s premium program includes some key areas to help you get started. They are as follows:
- Affiliate Bootcamp education
- Jaaxy is used for keyword and SEO research.
- Rewarding commissions
- Banner creation for referral tracking

How much money can you make with Wealthy Affiliate’s affiliate program?
You get paid whether an affiliate signs up monthly or yearly. This is $23.50 per month if they subscribe to the Premium program on a monthly basis, or $175 per year if they pay for a year in advance.
This is fantastic! Consider having a recurring payment deducted from your account each month or year… Isn’t that cool?
One thing I don’t like is that you make more money if they join as a monthly member, but they pay more in the long run. Do the right thing and encourage them to sign up for the annual membership to save money. The benefit of paying monthly is that they can cancel their membership without losing any money.
In addition to this monthly commission, if you receive 300 Premium referrals, you will be classified as a Super Affiliate and will receive a paid trip to Vegas!
Details about the affiliate program are displayed to Wealthy Affiliate Premium members:
- Commissions are $8 for the first month’s $19 special offer and then $23.50 per month after that.”
- The above rates are only available if you remain a Premium member of WA. “Starter Members earn $4 for special offer referrals, $11.75 monthly, and $87.50 annually.”
- WA provides “lifetime commissions and lifetime cookies,” which is completely unprecedented in the industry. If you refer someone to WA, they will always be your referral.”
- The WA affiliate program’s most unique – and brilliant – feature is that Premium members can communicate with their referrals within WA, welcoming them to the program, offering support, and encouraging them to upgrade to Premium. An autoresponder feature allows you to automatically message your referrals when they take (or fail to take) specific actions.
The cool thing about WA is that even if you aren’t a Premium member, you can earn an affiliate income. That’s fantastic! However, you do not receive the same benefits as a Premium member:

If you really want to try affiliate marketing, I believe that the membership fee is worth it just for the higher commission rates. Remember that a free membership account only gives you access to a small portion of the training. It’s not going to get you very far.

Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp Training
I like how you’ve directed your attention to the Affiliate Bootcamp as your first point of contact. Unfortunately, there are programs out there that will get you to sign up, empty your wallet, provide you with your referral ID, and then let you go.
While some of these work, WA falls short of providing tremendous value through the training modules to which members have access.

This may appear intimidating at first, but the training is well-structured and includes both text and video to assist you.
Although each training module can be cluttered, finding where you left off the previous time is simple, making the entire training a step-by-step process. On the main training screen, you’ll also see a summary tracker showing you how far you’ve progressed in your member journey.
As you can see, it is a complete package from start to finish, including everything from setting up your site and branding it with visuals and social media to running PPC campaigns for traffic and conversion.
There is some detailed information in there, but some of it is out of date, with dated training and some old-hat advice — for example, there is no mention of a silo structure.
Wealthy Affiliate obviously wants people who join their membership system to succeed in business, and why shouldn’t they? They earn more money and build a larger community that promotes the brand when you promote their business and get paid for it.

The training also encourages you to interact with the Wealthy Affiliate community, which is extremely beneficial.
Even if you aren’t ready to sign up for the Premium membership just yet, the free trial membership is worth taking a look at because it grants you access to the first affiliate program training module, “Getting Your Business Rolling.” The first level of the Online Entrepreneur Certification training is also available.
Be sure to complete all modules on any path you choose because you think you know everything. There might be a tidbit of information in there that will light a light bulb in your head.

Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate Program: Final Verdict
As a Premium member, there are no closed doors in Wealthy Affiliate’s program, which I’ve found with other similar programs. It eludes me why an affiliate program would only provide its marketers with some of what they need to know and do.
This is where I believe Jaaxy’s inclusion shines. You now have an immediate tool to assist you with keyword research, selecting a niche angle, and analyzing the competition. Rather than wading through mud and sifting through conflicting information, it’s a good starting point.
It’s clever how Wealthy Affiliate promotes Jaaxy via its affiliate link — if this isn’t teaching you about affiliate programs and the affiliate marketing world in general, I’m not sure what is. If you think you have something for free, show some good features to ensure you have the best tools possible.
My advice is to give it a shot, especially if you’re new to affiliate marketing. The number of comments on some of the posts saying they’ve just joined and have no idea what to do is insane!
The first stop should be at the training facility. The training takes you through every step of the process. Simply select “Training” from the side menu and then “Affiliate Bootcamp” from the pop-up menu, and you’re good to go!
