If you’re reading this, you’re probably considering joining a supplement affiliate program or two. Now I’m here to tell you that’s a fantastic idea. Why? Because the supplement affiliate programs — and its various sub-niches — offer many marketing opportunities.
According to the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s 2020 survey, 73 percent of Americans use nutritional supplements, up from 68 percent in 2015. With such a large audience, it’s no surprise that there’s a lot of money in the supplement market.
It was worth more than $140 billion last year and is expected to grow at an 8.6 percent compound annual growth rate between 2021 and 2028. As a result, it’s an industry with numerous opportunities for affiliate marketers to supplement their income.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the best supplement affiliate programs available right now.
Are supplement Affiliate Programs Profitable?
Affiliates can profit from this lucrative industry by participating in supplement affiliate programs and earning high commission averages of 30%. Furthermore, a lot of these supplement affiliate programs make it simple to convert sales by offering science-backed products, straightforward ingredients, great branding, and stylish social media posts.

MegaFood
MegaFood creates high-quality nutritional supplements using ingredients sourced from its trusted network of farm partners.
Committed to using its influence for good, the company strongly supports organic food, regenerative farming, and the larger quest for a more sustainable future.
It’s always a good idea to start promoting affiliate programs actively working to improve the world. Aside from its ethical credentials, MegaFoods’ supplement affiliate program is solid but unspectacular.
The commission rate of 8% isn’t alarming, but it’s near the bottom of all the supplements affiliate programs on this list, as is the 30-day cookie window.
Because the prices are relatively low across the board, you’ll need to drive a lot of sales to earn a decent commission here.

The Vitamin Shoppe
Despite its name, The Vitamin Shoppe was founded in the United States in 1977, not Tudor England.
It sells a dizzying array of specialized vitamins and supplements online and at over 730 retail locations across the United States.
Your readers will find bodybuilding supplements, liquid vitamins, and immune system support here.
Unfortunately, the good news ends there because The Vitamin Shoppe’s supplement affiliate program is, to put it mildly, stingy.
While its CJ Affiliate landing page promises commission rates of 4%–10%, at the time of writing, those commissions were set at a flat rate of 1%, easily the lowest of any of the supplement affiliate programs we’ve looked at (well, except for Amazon).
The cookie window is only valid for seven days. The only saving grace is the brand’s reputation, making it a relatively simple sell.

Rootine
Have you ever assumed that nutritional supplements were a one-size-fits-all product? Rootine has a very different perspective!
Its personalized micronutrients are created for each customer based on the results of a quiz, a DNA test, and a blood sample. You can even upload it to Ancestry.com or 23andMe to add more data points.
According to Rootine, there are 700 trillion possible combinations, so by providing all that information, it will be able to select the exact nutrients and dosage for you.
All of this appears to be quite impressive. But how about Rootine’s supplement affiliate program?
Cookie duration of 60 days and a commission of $75 are not to be overlooked.
However, you can also earn generous bonus commissions for meeting specific sales targets, as shown below:
- 10-19 sales/month: $1,000 bonus
- 20-34 sales/month: $2,000 bonus
- 35-49 sales/month: $3,000 bonus
- 50+ sales/month: $4,000 bonus

Bulk Supplements
Bulk Supplements, as the name implies, specializes in selling high-quality dietary supplements at low prices. Its product line includes protein powder, weight loss, herbal supplements, and more.
It is a ShareASale Power Rank merchant, generating thousands of sales per day, and has received over 100,000 positive reviews on Amazon and its website.
The Bulk Supplements affiliate program offers a solid 15% base commission (or 2% for wholesale orders), performance-based incentives, and a joining bonus for new affiliate marketers.
You can make a lot of money online here with an average order value of more than $120.
You’ll also have access to many affiliate marketing materials, such as banner ads and exclusive offers, and top performers will receive special discounts.

eVitamins
eVitamins is a one-stop-shop for all of your health and beauty supplements.
It aims to provide rock-bottom prices alongside high-quality customer service, with discounts of up to 75% available on select products.
And, with free shipping across the contiguous United States on over 16,500 products, plenty of deal-closers can be found here.
Let us now discuss the eVitamins supplement affiliate program. That is incorrect because it operates two supplement affiliate programs, one in-house and one through the CJ Affiliate network.
The in-house version has better terms, with commissions ranging from 12% to 20%, compared to 8% for new customers and 4% for repeater buyers through CJ Affiliate.
Furthermore, if a customer purchases after being referred by multiple affiliate programs, the commission is always paid first to the in-house affiliate.
Another thing to consider: while the 60-day cookie window is reasonable, eVitamins occasionally runs promotions and pays commissions for more extended time frames.

A1Supplements
A1Supplements.com is an online store that specializes in sports nutrition and lifestyle supplements.
It’s a seasoned player in the industry, with the website going live in 1999 — by which time it had already been distributing to gyms and stores in Tennessee, Georgia, and Kentucky for ten years. Since those early days, A1 has come a long way and now ships worldwide.
Instead of partnering with just one affiliate network, the company offers additional affiliate programs through two networks: CJ Affiliate and ShareASale.
There’s not much to choose between them, as both affiliate programs pay a 10% commission and have a 30-day cookie window.
When multiple affiliates can claim an order, A1 prioritizes CJ over ShareASale.

PureFormulas
PureFormulas, like eVitamins, is a one-stop shop for healthy foods, nutritional supplements, and beauty products.
It’s a major player in the supplement industry, having been named Newsweek’s top health product e-tailer for 2020. A number of other news outlets, including Channeladvisor and Smarter CX, have also covered it.
The PureFormulas store features over 400 popular brands, including Boiron, Now, and Thorne, as well as thousands of products for women, men, children, and even pets.
Now for the important part. The PureFormulas supplement affiliate program offers commissions of up to 8%, which does not appear to be very generous.
But when you consider the order value of $67 and the spectacular conversion rates of around 20%, it sounds a lot better.

Life Extension
Life Extension is a well-known name in the dietary supplement and vitamin industry. It has published its magazine since 1996, and 98% of customers say they would recommend the brand to family and friends.
In other words, this program could be ideal for affiliate websites with dedicated audiences looking for high-quality supplements.
The affiliate program at Life Extension pays a base commission of 6%. That may not sound impressive, but it becomes much more appealing when considering the average order value of $132 and conversion rates of nearly 4%.
Furthermore, the commission structure is intended to reward exceptional performance. Earn 9.5 percent per sale if you make $1,000 or more in monthly sales, 11 percent if you make $5,000 or more, and 12 percent if you make $10,000 or more.

Seed
Seed’s website makes it clear that it is aimed at the premium end of the supplement market.
It describes itself as “an ecosystem of doctors, scientists, thinkers, innovators, and translational storytellers,” which sounds very Silicon Valley.
Its chief scientist, Dr. Gregor Reid, chaired the UN and World Health Organization expert panel that defined the term “probiotics” in 2001. That is terrifyingly impressive!
Seed’s probiotics are available on a monthly basis for $49.99. It pays a competitive base commission of 25%, but the cookie window is a little narrower than we’d prefer.

Ritual
Ritual Vitamins is a female-focused vitamin and supplement subscription service.
It has an engaging story. Before, founder Katerina Schneider became pregnant and discovered that many beauty supplements, health products, and cleaning supplies contain harmful chemicals and questionable ingredients.
So she set out to make her prenatal multivitamin that was free of harmful colors, unproven dosages, and misleading labels.
But Ritual Vitamins is more than just a good story; it also has one of the best supplement affiliate programs we’ve seen.
With a $67 EPC, it pays a whopping 75% commission. You also have a dedicated affiliate manager to assist you in driving traffic and earning money.

Final Thoughts
As you can see, there are numerous excellent supplement affiliate programs available.
And that’s without even mentioning a slew of big supplement affiliate brands like Bodybuilding.com and GNC, both of which have affiliate programs that aren’t currently accepting new applicants.
Of course, finding the best supplement affiliate programs for you will naturally depend on your audience and expertise, as with any market.
Promoting bodybuilding supplements to women over-90s or men’s health products is unlikely to yield much benefit.
