What is Norwex?
Norwex is a Norwegian multi-level marketing company that was founded by Bjorn Nicolaisen in 1995. They have been in the business for more than 20 years now and their main goal as a company is to introduce a product that will help us to reduce harmful chemicals that we encounter and use in our daily lives.
Since it was established, it expands so quickly to some parts of the globe like the United States, Germany, Australia, and other countries. And speaking of the products that Norwex is offering to the public, they are well-known for having a microfiber cleaning cloth but they also have other products as well such as household, personal care, and other sustainable products. They have so much to offer, so if you are curious about what are they, you can check on their website about their products.
How Does Norwex Work?
Norwex works the same as the other multi-level marketing company like Tupperware which I already review before so you can check it out. The common way to earn money with an MLM company is to sell their products and to recruit someone to join the company. Since Norwex offers an unusual product, one of the best ways to market the product is by joining a product party, you may also take advantage of the product party to look for someone to recruit in the company.
But before that, you need to go on the process to be an official Consultant of Norwex. After signing up you will be given a Party Starter Kit and sample products which are all going to be for free but you will just pay for the shipping fee that will cost you $99. And aside from that, if you will check on their brochure you have to reach the quota of $2000 retail sales within 90 days after you received the Starter Kit.
You also have the option to upgrade the Starter Kit on the time that you are on the process of applying as a member. And here are the upgrade options that you will have.
- Silver Package – will cost you $166 to upgrade.
- Gold Package – will cost you $273 to upgrade.
- Platinum Package – will cost you $438 to upgrade.
As soon as you upgrade your starter kit, you will be given extra business supplies that include order forms, business cards, and catalogs. This looks worth it but always remember that you should always hit the required minimum retail sale each month to keep your member status active. I know that this is not effective for some, but you still have a lot of options to try in order for you to earn money online.
How Much Can You Make With Norwex?
Can I make money with Norwex? For sure this is the first question you have in mind. Somehow you can make money with Norwex but for the estimated amount it will depend because Norwex does have a lot of ways for you to choose in order to earn money. Here are the ways for you to get paid with Norwex.
- Retail Sales – You will get an instant 35% for every retail sale you will have.
- Free Products – If you were able to hit the number of product parties you host or product you sell, you will get free Norwex products.
- Recruiting – This is very known especially in MLM companies but there is something different with Norwex. Instead of getting a cash bonus you will be receiving $300 worth of product of your choice.
Based on what I have researched, most of the Norwex Consultant is earning $500 per month depending on how many product parties they hosted. They said that if you were able to host one party per week you will get a commission around $700 a month, so let say if you can manage to host two product parties each week you can earn at least $1400 a month.
Basically, the total earning each month will be based on how hard-working you are and it would be better to have knowledge on how to host a product party because it will be a good help.
What I Don’t Like About Norwex.
There is no such thing as perfect, that is why I also discover things that you may consider to think twice to see if Norwex is for you or not. Here are the things that I don’t like about Norwex.
All are about recruiting.
This is normal with every MLM company. But what if you are someone that is not used to this way of earning? It would be best if they will find a way to replace recruiting as a way of earning. This can also help avoid people thinking right away that their company is not a scam or pyramid scheme.
Not an easy way to earn.
Hosting a product party for once or twice a week is not that easy especially when it comes to promoting the event. It may also cost you a lot of money because of the preparation.
Not BBB accredited.
The Better Business Bureau plays a big role in any business, either an MLM or not. And unfortunately, Norwex is not accredited by BBB and it also has an average rating. On the BBB page, you will see that Norwex also gets a lot of complaints. If a business or company is not accredited by BBB they will easily think that it is a scam.
What I Like About Norwex
And aside from that, there are also things that you can look forward to Norwex, and here are the things that I like about Norwex.
60-Day Warranty.
Once you purchase their product, you will have 60 days to see if you are satisfied with their products. And if you decided to return it, they are more than willing to give you a refund or even replacement within that 60 days.
They have quality products.
You will find their products all over the internet and they are getting good reviews about it, especially the microfiber products. Aside from that, their products are environment-friendly and chemical-free.
Understandable Compensation Plan.
Unlike the other multi-level marketing company out there, Norwex has a very simple compensation plan and very easy to understand. I think this is very important because their future members will not be confused about it.
Is Norwex a Scam? My Final Verdict.
After all the research that I did for Norwex review, I can say that they seem to be a legit company. Maybe the reason why people easily think that they are a scam because of the process that they have as well as their compensation plan. Their complaints and BBB ratings may also affect the judgment of people.
I can still recommend this to some of but if you are looking for an income that can sustain your monthly needs, I suggest finding another way to earn money.
