What is Lifevantage?

Lifevantage is a multi-level marketing company that sells and manufactures health and wellness products with the used of science-based solutions to oxidative stress. The company was founded in 2003, which is 16 years ago by Darren Jensen. The company is selling its products through retail channels but they made a decision to change it to the networking marketing model in 2005. Since they change that in 2005, Lifevantage became one of the most well-known MLM companies in the nutraceutical space.

The company claims that they are producing products that are scientifically-validated products that are specifically focused on healthy living and can reduce oxidative stress. Their mission is to provide people a healthy living. But for me, just to be honest, they are just using complicated science language to encourage people that their products are reliable and well-researched.

One of their ultimate products, the Nad Synergizer, supposedly works as an antiaging “for the mind”.  I found this video on youtube “not so” packed with information, some viewer commented “A great unscientific sales video with zero information“.

As I stated above, Lifevantage relies on fancy language and “hot topics” like the theory of aging to promote and compel people into buying their products.

How Does Lifevantage Work?

Lifevantage is just like the usual MLM company and the ways you can earn money with them is the same as the others. So expect that their compensation plan is complicated as well. Basically, you have two options to choose in order for you to earn money, it can be through commission-based by selling the products or you can recruit your friends and relatives to sign up and join the company.

The first step towards earning with Lifevantage is you need to be one of their licensed distributors. You need to purchase their Starter Kit that will cost you $50 that includes training materials that you will use to start the business. But of course, you still need to purchase their products because it is not included in the starter kit, unlike the other MLM companies. And it will also best if you can try the products that you will endorse and will be more effective to get sales as well.

In buying their products after being a successful member, they will introduce different kinds of packages that they say you can able to save in purchasing it. They have the Silver package that is for $350 with 20% savings, the Gold package for $650 with 25% savings, the Gold Performance package for $650 with 25% savings just like the Gold package, and lastly is the Platinum package for $1250 with 30% savings.

But aside from that purchases, you also need to maintain a monthly quota or order required for you to stay active as a member and can still get the commissions. This is very normal with the MLM companies which make it more complicated to others especially if you are new to this kind of business.

How Much Can You Make With Lifevantage?

Since they are operating like the usual multi-level marketing company it will be the same that they have a lot of ways for you to earn more but most common is direct selling and recruiting. There are still some ways you can choose to earn commissions and will still require you to do selling and recruiting. Mostly are rank bonuses that you will get once you have 5 successful referrals, so what will happen is the more recruits you will have is the higher your rank is as well as the commission you will get.

So your total earnings in a month will still depend on how hard-working you are and how effective the distributor is. Some say that they are earning around $200 a month in doing this full-time but there are also people who say that they are not earning any single centavo with Lifevantage because they don’t have the knowledge to promote a product and convince people to buy the product.

For me, it will be best to try alternative ways to earn money online in a legit and effective way. Like what I always say, MLM company will not give you a guarantee to have a stable income. It will require you a lot of knowledge and effort.

What I Don’t Like About Lifevantage.

There are things I figure out about Lifevantage that I think is important for you to know especially if you are someone that is new to the business. And here it is.

They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Most of the people nowadays are basing their decision if the company is a scam or a pyramid scheme through checking BBB or Better Business Bureau, and unfortunately, Lifevantage is not accredited by BBB. This may have a big impact on your decisions if you have plans in joining the company.

A lot of people failed to earn money from Lifevantage.

While I am doing this review, based on some research there are a lot of people who join the company but did not make any earnings. And most of the reasons are they are not good at selling especially if it is peer to peer selling wherein you need to sell the products personally. I agree with that, I am the kind of person that would rather do online selling than door to door selling.

However, there are still people who found their success with Lifevantage, it will always depend on how patient you are in doing the business and how willing you are to do it. So there are still chances that you may succeed with this company.

What I Like About Lifevantage.

If you will ask me about what I like about Lifevantage, I can only answer that with one thing. And that is they are a public listed and traded company. This means that it separates themselves from other multi-level companies with the same niche that they have which will give them more credibility.

Is Lifevantage a Scam? My final thoughts.

And with that being said, I can say that Lifevantage is not a scam since they have their own products to offer to their buyers. As well as there is proof that there are still people who still consider joining the company behind the negative feedback about it.

For someone who is still new on this business, I suggest is to gain more knowledge about how the business works especially how you can effectively convince people to sign up as a member. Since the Lifevantage compensation plan is all about recruiting. Much better to be ready than to invest and get nothing out from it.

There are a lot of alternative ways that you can try, you may want to check my Wealthy Affiliate Review and have the idea on how you can earn money online without exerting too much effort and money. It is easy as writing your hobby and earn from it.
