Graphic design is becoming increasingly accessible to non-designers, but what about logo design? Designing logos is also tricky, but everyone requires them. This is where the DesignEvo logo maker comes into play.
A beginner can get their hands on the best logo software because it makes logo design simple.
You can quickly create a logo and make it available for commercial use if you select a paid plan. Join us as we discuss why you should consider DesignEvo in this review.
DesignEvo is a logo creator that is free for specific file size of logo and has some pricing options if you want to download your logo for better size and quality. It has a lot of valuable features such as customization and templates for non-designers and beginners.
DesignEvo Devices and Operating Systems
To begin with, because this is an online app, you cannot download DesignEvo for PC.
It is compatible with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari on Windows, Linux, and Mac by Apple. DesignEvo is available on Android and iOS, but the mobile and web versions are not synchronized.
This means you won't be able to access the logos you created using the web version in a mobile app.
How Does DesignEvo Work?
Its interface is centered on the prominent sidebar on the far left side, which will be used to generate all visuals. It's one of the reasons DesignEvo reviews are so positive.
Its Settings button allows you to change the language and more easily access the official website's tutorial and help menus.
There are basic zoom and resolution options at the bottom of the screen and the Align menu, which is especially useful for logos. The screen's top section allows you to Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) steps and Preview, Save and Download your work.
The only criticism of the interface is that it lacks layers, forcing you to move objects back and forth manually. As a result, you don't always know where they stand concerning the rest of the design. Layers may be confusing to non-designers, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Getting Started
There's a start from scratch button at the top right of the page that, as the name implies, allows you to start from scratch. Most people, however, will opt for the alternative: begin with a template, of which DesignEvo has thousands.
The main section of the interface is devoted to large thumbnails, with a sidebar divided by category to assist you in narrowing down your selection. A search field is also available at the top of the sidebar.
The similar function, which you can access by mousing over a thumbnail. When you click on that button, other logos based on the characteristics of the one you selected appear. There's even the option of narrowing down the results by keyword, though you can only choose one at a time. It would have been preferable to select multiple ones at once.
When you've found a template you like, it's time to customize it.
Customization
The interface is straightforward: the main preview section is on the right, with four menus on the left containing icons, fonts, shapes, and colors.
'Icons' is an extensive library of black and white designs that you can use to customize your logo. The same is true for 'Shapes.' If you want to add another line of text, click the 'Text' button. You have many fonts to choose from, and if you want something a little fancier, check out the 'Art' section for ready-made designs.
However, the best part of the interface is how interactive it is: every object added to your design can be manipulated from the main preview space.
Your logo is built on a layered system, with each object stacked on top of the others. Choose one, and as long as it doesn't overlap another one too much, the interface will recognize which one you want to manipulate. With it selected, you can move, rotate, and even resize it. As you progress, you'll receive helpful information such as its pixel dimension, and guides will appear to ensure that its position remains consistent with the rest of your design. There's also a menu that lets you change the position of that object within the layer system, allowing you to place it in front of or behind another easily.
Any tools for editing the selected object can be found at the top left of the preview section. Suppose it's an icon or a shape. In that case, you can change its colors (there's a palette to choose from or click on the '+' to get unlimited access to all possible color variations), flip it vertically or horizontally, and change its opacity.
This is how I make my money online.
Text editing includes all of the basic features you'd expect, such as changing the font's color, size, and style, but a menu with more advanced options, such as changing the spacing between letters or the text's curve.
Another feature we appreciated was the ability to change the overall size of the design. The canvas is set to 500x500 pixels by default, but this can be changed at any time (only the canvas is changed; you'll have to manually resize the elements if you want a more extensive design on a larger canvas).
Download
Keep in mind that only 300x300 logos are available for free download. There are also some restrictions: transparent backgrounds are not permitted, and you must credit DesignEvo via social media, blog, or website. We understand the value and importance of promotion and advertisement, but this requirement seems unusual given that we haven't come across any other competing services with such a requirement.
If you're pleased enough with your creation to want to pay for it, you have two choices: Basic or Plus. Both allow you to create logo designs up to 5000x5000 pixels in size with a transparent background that you can change and re-download as needed. The Plus version includes vector files, a copy of the fonts used, and copyright ownership. These are both one-time purchases of $25 and $50.

Design Evo Support
You can find FAQ and tutorial sections by opening the program's settings or visiting the official website. Both are extremely useful, and we have no complaints about them.
There's a live chat button in the bottom-right corner of the workspace and email support if the former is unavailable.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this DesignEvo review, it was not. Because there is no phone number, email is the only way to communicate directly.
Fortunately, the DesignEvo team is approachable and will answer all your questions. However, it may take them up to a day or two to respond.
DesignEvo Logo Maker Review: Final Verdict
The DesignEvo interface is clean and straightforward, giving you complete control over the logo design process. The direct manipulation from the main preview section is very effective, allowing you to create something unique in a short time. As long as the 'promotion' (which reduces the price by half) is in effect, the value of the paid-for options is comparable to the competition.
